  • Author of wide range of legislation, including the Palm Beach County Health Care District Act, the statewide Children’s Services Council Law,  handgun control legislation for Palm Beach County, Charter Amendments, and numerous ordinances.

  • Successfully defended several Fair Labor Standards Act lawsuits relating to the minimum wage and maximum hours law.
  • Successfully defended several lawsuits alleging excessive use of force by police officers.
  • Won several lawsuits enforcing municipal restrictions on adult entertainment establishments.
  • Negotiated and drafted many Chief Executive Officer employment agreements.
  • Negotiated and drafted contracts for numerous complex transactions. 
  • Successfully tried many constitutional lawsuits, including First Amendment, Due Process, Equal Protection and Commerce Clause issues.
  • Successfully defended many election law lawsuits, including prevailing in State Court Trial contesting the results of a municipal election challenging the election of two Commissioners and five Charter Amendments.
  • Successfully resolved Step Plan Grievance brought against a municipality by the Police Benevolent Association (PBA).
